Mum’s the word at Alloura Waters

It was a ladies’ only affair last Sunday at Living Choice Alloura Waters as they celebrated all the wonderful mothers that make up their thriving community with a special Mother’s Day morning tea.

The table was laden with a delicious selection of home-made goodies which were provided by the village’s very active social committee.

It was the perfect opportunity for the ladies to just sit and enjoy a relaxed conversation over a hot cup of tea or coffee and appreciate being able to come together for a special occasion – a stark contrast to last year when the event was cancelled due to COVID -19 restrictions.

Although this year there was no craft stall, resident Robin Armstrong still presented her plant stall which was a great success and an excellent money raiser for the residents’ fund.

Overall, it was a lovely morning enjoyed by all and will no doubt be a feature on next year’s social calendar.
