New appointment boosts design team
With the expansion of Living Choice, EDP Hotels and Hotel Club Specialists (HCS), experienced architect, Jason Braun, has been appointed as Architectural Practice Manager to ensure the smooth flow of design work to all departments.
Jason joins Head of Design, Craig Eyles and 12 in-house architects, designers and technicians who are responsible for the design of Living Choice retirement villages in three states, the new Mount Barker Over 50s Lifestyle Resort, residential developments in QLD and a growing number of projects under the EDP Hotels and HCS banners.
Jason is a registered architect in South Australia with a Master of Business Management qualification from the University of Adelaide. His task is to develop a happy, productive and responsive architectural team to meet the growing demands of time, cost and quality of the many building projects. He works closely with the management and construction teams, external consultants and suppliers, developing strong relationships and a commitment to quality of service.
Jason is a proud South Australian, returning home to Adelaide with his family just before the onset of the 2020 pandemic. For the previous 11 years he was based in Melbourne, working in key roles on major building projects across the globe.
Just prior to joining Living Choice, Jason worked with a global architectural practice that specialises in the seniors and aged care sector. His role was co-principal of the Adelaide office, however he also undertook a national role as Quality Manager and a global role as the Health Sector leader. Jason’s projects were located across SA, NSW and Victoria.
Jason occasionally finds the time and fitness to play hockey for Adelaide University in their Division 6 team. However, he mostly enjoys weekend activities with his three teenage children, in particular trips away to the family shack at North Beach on Yorke Peninsula.
