New bowling champions at Broadwater Court

The annual Broadwater Bowls Club’s Ladies Pairs Competition, sponsored by Living Choice, was played on Sunday 16th June. It was a very chilly day with everyone wearing an extra layer to keep them warm.

Although the entry this year was smaller, the tense atmosphere enthralled the keen audience. The sportsmanship was great and you will see from the photos that there was great camaraderie and fun on the day.

Congratulations to Pam Price and Jill McNamara who defeated Kathy Mitchell and Barbara Whitty in a very close game.
