Open Day at Kawana Island delivers high praise
The sun came out to welcome over 50 people who attended the Open Day at Living Choice Kawana Island on 6th September.
Sales consultant Suzi Morland said all those who sent an RSVP for the event turned up. “Some were existing clients and others knew residents in the village.”
The three-hour Open Day worked well, giving everyone plenty of time to showcase activities in the village, inspect a display home and tour the village.
Visitors enjoyed the sausage sizzle on the lawn under umbrellas and got the chance to talk to village residents. Also available were sandwiches, slices, coffee and tea in the Leisure Centre, where you could watch line dancing and indoor bowls.
Other activities that were showcased through the event were lawn bowls, tennis, darts and snooker.
The ambassadors and residents did an amazing job on the welcome desk, helping in the kitchen and showing people through the display.
Also in attendance were Regional Sales Manager Tracy Blair, Village Managers Russ Dunstan of Kawana Island and Simone McKenna of Twin Waters.
Congratulations to the winners of the hamper, Peter and Hedy Roth from Little Mountain. This was their first time at Living Choice Kawana Island. Both were impressed with the village and loved chatting with residents.
Well done on a fantastic day and sincere thanks to all staff, ambassadors and residents.
