Our Leisure Centre is a teenager at last!

On Thursday, 11 July over 100 residents gathered at Allegro Function Centre to celebrate the birthday of Living Choice Glenhaven’s beautiful Leisure Centre.

The venue was excellent and as it was a cold winter’s day the roaring fire was greatly appreciated. The caterers did a wonderful job and everyone had a great time, with raffles and lucky door prizes to add to the gaiety.

As the centre hit its teenage years we thought it appropriate celebrate the diversity and flexibility of our Leisure Centre with a special performer to entertain us.

Kristy Lee had us in stitches with her impressions of notable entertainers such as Elvis, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey and many more. Then just for a change of pace she sang Puccini and Lloyd Webber.  A brilliant and versatile entertainer, just what we needed to celebrate a special birthday.
