Parkwood Corporate Golf Day sponsors dig deep for flood relief

With its attractive golf holes and multiple entertainment venues, Parkwood Golf Club is a popular venue for Corporate Golf Days. Once a year, the club organises a golf event for Corporate Sponsors, and the top prize is a Corporate Golf Day valued at $8,000.

This year, the sponsors also donated a wide variety of prizes, including wine, rum, beer, golf merchandise, clothing vouchers and Pilates classes. Instead of being used as golf prizes, they were raffled at the dinner with over $3,000 being raised for flood relief.

The 4-person Ambrose event attracted 132 players, mostly from corporate companies, and there were hole sponsors or activations on all 18 holes. Living Choice Parkwood, which is building an exciting retirement community overlooking the golf course, sponsored the Par 4, 17th hole, which was manned by sales consultant, Michael Levick.

“It was a good opportunity to let players know what was happening on the Living Choice site and provide an overview of the Village facilities. The weather on the day was perfect and the course was in great condition,” said Michael.

The winner of the Corporate Golf Day was Peter Watts, a Parkwood Golf Club member. Congratulations to all the winners:
