Parkwood Design & Swing Fun Event
Keeping our future Living Choice Parkwood residents regularly informed of updated design features and construction progress is very important. A recent event held on Tuesday 22nd October saw our Expression of Interest (EOI) holders briefed on images of the world class Leisure Centre and the Community Centre and gave future residents the opportunity to mingle and meet their new “community”.
Craig Eyles, Living Choice Manager Architectural Division showcased images of the new Leisure Centre located in the Lakeshore Building to attendees and revealed exciting news of a new inclusion – a temperature-controlled Wine Room. Craig explained “for wine to mature as the wine maker intended and to provide residents with maximum drinking enjoyment, red wines need to be kept at a consistent 12-14 degrees all year round. “ He went on to explain “lower temperature fridges are also needed for white wine, rose and sparkling wines, which will also be included in the new Wine Room”.
The Wine Room will have direct access to the balcony and be perfect for intimate resident events and wine tastings. Larger resident events can be held in the Resident Lounge or Auditorium that includes a dance floor and stage.
Also in attendance at the Parkwood Design reveal were National Marketing Manager, Megan Mallick and Regional Manager – Queensland, Tracy Blair.
The Community Centre, adjacent to the entrance will be perfect for mid-size resident events or playing a game of snooker or pool in the Billiard Room, which will also include a bar and comfortable lounge seating.
After the presentation our Golf Specialist, Mitch Jacobson guided attendees through an immersive golfing experience in the Full Swing Suites – a one-of-a-kind simulation offering a large screen and a selection of exciting virtual games.
This event was another fantastic opportunity for EOI holders to gain experience about what they can expect from living at the Gold Coast’s most exciting new retirement community and connect with like-minded people making Living Choice Parkwood their home.
