Parkwood Seniors & Veterans golfers celebrate 25th Anniversary

Members of the Parkwood Seniors & Veterans Golf Club gathered at The Club at Parkwood Village on 2nd December to celebrate an important milestone – the club’s 25th Anniversary.

One hundred and thirty-eight people attended the enjoyable event, including Living Choice sales consultants, Angie Hackett and Michael Levick.

In true Christmas spirit, many prizes were handed out to the winners of the Best Dressed competitions and the mega raffles, with Mr & Mrs Bond Hampers and gift vouchers sponsored by Living Choice Parkwood. In addition, all golf event winners received a Christmas Ham.

Michael congratulated the 2021 committee members, Allan McDonald, Don Cutting, Paul Church, Christa Green, Bryce Randall, Peter Creeber, Maree Murphy, Jeff Ross and Tony Kent on staging another fantastic year of golfing and social events for their 220 members.

“Living Choice Parkwood is delighted to sponsor the Appreciation Day Christmas Lunch event and looks forward to supporting growth of membership numbers and sponsoring future Seniors and Veterans events again in 2022.”

Michael said several of the current Living Choice Parkwood deposit holders were golfers and a QLD Inter-Village golf event with Twin Waters and Kawana Island residents was in the early planning stages for 2022.

Over the years, the Parkwood Seniors & Veterans Golf Club has grown from 32 members to a record 220 members in 2021.
