Parkwood Veteran Golfers embrace the festive season
More than 150 members of the Parkwood Seniors & Veterans Golf Club Inc celebrated the Christmas season with a Better Ball Stableford golf competition followed by a festive lunch at The Club at Parkwood Village on Thursday 10th December. Living Choice Parkwood has come on board as a sponsor of the Parkwood Vets and National Marketing Manager, Linda Hooper, was blown away by the wonderful welcome she received and the friendliness of the members.
There was a staggering array of prizes for the winning golf teams and the raffle winners. Each player in the first six winning teams won a Beechwood Smoked Ham and each player in the next six winning teams won 4 golf balls. Well done to Jeffrey and Karen Ross for achieving the top score of 50 points on a count out from Ken Torrinston and G Hookey.
The raffle prizes included 2 Cleveland golf bags, 4 $50 Coles Group gift vouchers donated by Living Choice, 18 Christmas hampers, 12 golf hampers and 12 bottles of wine. Living Choice also donated three prize packs as lucky draw prizes, which were won by Jon Ball, Stewart Jones and Garry Leddin.
Congratulations to the Vets’ Vice-President, Allan McDonnell, for his superb organisation of this popular event. The Living Choice team is looking forward to many more enjoyable events.
