Parkwood Vets roll out the welcome mat

The annual Parkwood Seniors and Veterans’ Shield Day held at Parkwood Golf Club is always a popular event. This year’s tournament was another great success, attracting 102 male and female golfers from Parkwood, Tamborine Mountain, Emerald Lakes, Tallebudgera and Gainsborough Greens Golf Clubs.

Living Choice sponsored the major prizes, with golf towels and balls for all golfers who landed on the 4th green. Sales consultant Michael Levick was there bright and early to set up the Living Choice stand and said It was wonderful to have some fine weather after all the rain, with the calm conditions assisting with some great scores.

At the prizegiving, Parkwood Vets’ President, Alan McDonnell expressed his appreciation for Living Choice’s ongoing sponsorship and promised that next year’s event would be even bigger. The winner of the Living Choice hamper was Tony Tane.
