Party time in Twin Waters!

The annual Party in the Park organised by the Twin Waters Residents’ Association (TWRA) moved to a new venue this year – in the shopping village carpark across the road from Living Choice Twin Waters. Not only was this a popular decision for the many retirement village residents who attended – it got the tick of approval from local residents too, with a big crowd turning out to support the event.

The organising committee, spearheaded by the LJ Hooker Twin Waters’ team, worked for many months to bring the Party in the Park to life and it did not disappoint with plenty of activities to keep both young and old entertained.

There was live music by the talented duo of Joshua Linnet and James Todd and wonderful performances by singers from Pacific Paradise State School. The young dancers from Ausfunk Cheer and Dance in Marcoola also impressed with their agility.

Other activities included Apex Camp games, face-painting, a jumping castle, market stalls and displays by the Police Service and Neighbourhood Watch.

Plenty of food and drinks were also available from the Maroochy Shore Lions Club and local outlets, The Cock & Hen, The Loose Goose and the Twin Waters Convenience Store. A colourful fireworks display capped off a great afternoon and evening.
