President shines at Lower Murray & Hills Vets’ Golf Day

Sixty members of the Lower Murray & Hills Veteran Golfers’ Association travelled to Murray Bridge for their monthly game on Monday 17th October. The players made the most of the beautiful Spring weather and good course conditions, but it was an extra special day for President Colin Stevens, who was the overall winner.

“I finally had a good game, winning an Eftpos card valued at $50 with the sponsorship funds provided by Living Choice,” he said.

“Lots of prizes were given out, including Living Choice golf towels with every prize,” he added.

Colin scored 38 Stableford points to be the overall winner. The Division 1 winner was Steve Nailer with 37 points and the placings were all decided on a countback. Second was Jill Sommerlad with 36 points, third was Ian Bristow with 36 points and in fourth place was Graham Young with 36 points.
