Proudly supporting Youth Opportunities

Living Choice is a proud long-time supporter of Youth Opportunities and was a Gold Sponsor at their recent Golf Day. The event was hugely successful, raising more than $90,000!

Erin Faerhmann, Chief Executive of Youth Opportunities, wrote to Living Choice following the event to express their gratitude. “I would like to sincerely thank you for being a Gold Sponsor of the 2020 Golf Day. Your support enabled us to raise over $90,000, which helps us to create opportunities for many more young South Australians experiencing disadvantage or adversity to thrive.”

Ms Faerhmann said that for more than 22 years, Youth Opportunities had been delivering evidence-based personal leadership and wellbeing programs across metro and regional SA, made possible only because of the support of partners like Living Choice.

“Our student speaker for Golf Day 2020, Karina, perfectly summed up the impact your support will continue to have on young people across SA, for which we are grateful.”

Karina said, “Right now, I am so happy to be here and share my story with you, as I am grateful to have participated in this program. And to be at this point with my mental health that I can proudly claim that I am on my journey to a better future and long-term happiness, with life’s flaws and all.”

Ms Faerhmann said that as a charity with limited resources, the impact Youth Opportunities had was restricted only by the support the organisation received. “Again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the assistance you continue to provide Youth Opportunities, not only through Gold Sponsorship for 2020 Golf Day, but as one of our most valued partners throughout the year.”
