Putt Putt, Pizzas and Pinot @ Parkwood
Future residents of Living Choice Parkwood were given a taste of the excellent facilities available at the adjacent `The Club at Parkwood Village’ when they gathered for an afternoon of `Putt Putt, Pizzas and Pinot’ on 23rd March.
Regional Manager, Tracy Blair joined sales consultants, Angie Hackett and Michael Levick for the fun event, which was open to all deposit holders at the village.
“It was an opportunity for everyone to forge new and long-life friendships,” said Michael. “Since the last `Meet your new neighbours’ event last year there have been several new deposit holders who were able to attend, and it was wonderful to observe everyone leaving at the end of the night as if they were already old friends,” he said.
The bonding commenced on the challenging Boulders Mini Golf Course with deposit holders participating in a combined gross individual score team’s event. Congratulations to the winning team of Marian Crossman-Taylor, John and Judy Pottage and Tracy Blair with an average team score of 24.25. They just edged out (by less than one stroke) Karla Hawley and Adrian and Karen Wharton with an average team score of 24.33.
Michael said Tracy shot the lowest individual score of 19 (3 below par) in a round that included a hole-in-one. Hole-in-ones were also achieved by Adrian Wharton (2), Aileen Halter, Marian Crossman Taylor, Margaret Taylor and Judy Pottage.
“As the sun set over the golf course, there was friendly banter about missed putts and common interests were shared, everyone enjoying the wood-fired pizzas which were accompanied by Giesen Pinot Gris (Marlborough NZ) and Wicks Pinot Noir (Adelaide Hills SA).”
Further deposit holder events are planned this year. To find out how you can secure an apartment at Living Choice Parkwood, phone 1300 421 414.
