R U OK? Day a highlight for Alloura Waters residents

Living Choice Alloura Waters residents received a special surprise on “R U OK? Day” on Thursday 9th September, with special R U OK? cookies for all residents.

The staff members all dressed up in shirts that Leanne had painted for them and went from door to door, handing out the cookies.

Village Manager, Leanne Maini, said they had a fantastic day. “The residents were so grateful for us visiting them. Apparently, we made their day!”

Afterwards the residents took to the Alloura Waters Facebook page to express their appreciation. Kerry Wheeler said, “Thanks to our wonderful Manager Leanne and the amazing staff at our beautiful Alloura Waters. Much appreciated by all.”

Carol Peel added, “Fabulous – thank you”, Anne Greer wrote, “Thank you – what a nice thought” and Karen Freeman added, “Very much appreciated”.
