Record number of garden awards for Glenhaven
The Living Choice gardening team and the village’s many green-fingered residents scooped a record 39 awards at the 2018 Sydney Hills Garden Competition run by the Hills-Kellyville Rotary Club. Part of the popular Orange Blossom Festival, the competition recognises excellent gardens in the Hills District, while fostering a sense of pride in the community.
The presentation evening was held at the Castle Hill Showgrounds and was attended by Subhash Chander, Manager Ground Care & Maintenance, staff member Jane Fisher and several residents.
Village manager, Gail Eyres, said the village staff were always getting compliments from both clients and residents about the beautiful gardens at Glenhaven. “It’s the compliment we hear the most and we are very proud of what our residents and ground care staff have achieved.”
Gail said a Morning Tea to congratulate the award-winners will be held at the village on 10th October.
