Every year, The Parkwood Seniors and Veterans’ Club organises an Appreciation Day to celebrate Christmas. Once again, a sizable crowd of players were warmly welcomed at The Club for this year's festivities.
President and Social Convenor, Allan McDonnell said all members over the age of 80 were invited to play golf and attend the Christmas lunch at no cost, in recognition of their service and support of the club.
With more than 170 participants joining the 3-Person Ambrose – sales support Michael Levick said lots of records were had on the day and players really enjoyed their game.
The festive celebration continued with a delightful Christmas lunch featuring an entrée of prawn cocktail, options of Cola glazed ham, or roast turkey with veggies. The meal concluded on a sweet note with a delectable dessert of plum pudding accompanied with custard.
The Club at Parkwood Village team is to be congratulated for helping to make this special day one to remember.
Living Choice Sales Consultant Vickie Lea presented the winners with their prizes donated by Living Choice and provided an update on the village’s development.
