Resident Ambassadors provide feedback at Fullarton
The appointment of Simon Pavelic, new Village Manager at Living Choice Fullarton, presented a great opportunity to refresh the Resident Ambassador program at the village. It also provided an opportunity for the Ambassadors to give feedback about the program and offer suggestions on how it could be improved.
Residents were invited to attend a Morning Tea and hear about the benefits and responsibilities of being an Ambassador. The event was also attended by Jason Sack, Group General Manager and Katherine Stacey, Regional Manager.
Although Fullarton is currently “full”, several Ambassador events are supported with marketing funds to ensure that the village remains in demand with prospective residents. To qualify for sponsorship, events must be open to the public.
Current events that enjoy marketing support include the month-long SALA exhibition, held every August, sponsorship of three art exhibition openings each year, a contribution towards the regular Cabaret evenings and the annual jewellery exhibition.
At Fullarton, the Resident Ambassadors also “man” the sales desk, showing visitors around the village and promoting the lifestyle, activities and benefits of living there.
Many excellent suggestions were made to add to the Resident Ambassador program, including new name badges, encouraging new residents to become Ambassadors and sponsorship of special events. An Ambassador Column and a Chairman’s Column were also proposed for the weekly Communique.
