Resident Ambassadors roll out the welcome mat at Alloura Waters
Open Days play a very important part in showcasing the homes available at Living Choice Alloura Waters and the sales consultants, Jenny Trovato and Dave Grassby, are very fortunate to have such a supportive team of Resident Ambassadors to assist. Now that the COVID-19 restrictions are easing, it was time for the Ambassadors to don their smart “uniforms” once again, put on the kettle and chat to prospective residents about life at the village.
The first Open House event in many months was held on Thursday 3rd December and sales consultant Jenny Trovato said that although numbers were not as high as usual, it was a very successful day. “All the visitors were extremely interested, with some from our waiting list plus some new contacts. They were very impressed and surprised at the quality and standard of our villas and apartments. As always, the Ambassadors were outstanding, helping the day to run very smoothly,” she said.
Resident Ambassador leader, Carol Peel, said she could tell from the questions that clients were asking that there was a lot of interest. “There was lots of positivity and one person even asked where she could sign up! We told them not to wait too long. So many new residents tell us they should have moved sooner.”
Carol said the COVID-Safe guidelines were easy to follow. “The staff had a record of the clients’ details, we were all socially distant and all the food items were individually wrapped. Everything went very smoothly.”
It was a busy week for Carol as her husband Wayne celebrated his 80th birthday at Happy Hour the following day. Take a bow, Carol and all the Ambassadors who assisted, including Joan Edwards, Rob Capon, Barbara Thomas, Brian Smith, Kerri Wheeler and Heather Sushames. Resident Ambassadors do not get “paid” for their services or receive any special privileges – they put their hand up to help because they love their village. A big “thank-you” to you all!
