Residents enjoy final Happy Hour of 2017

Every second Friday at Leisure Lea Gardens, you will find many residents enjoying Happy Hour in the lounge area. It’s a great opportunity for people to get to know each other better in a relaxed setting and also for new residents to make friends.

The Happy Hour is organised by resident chairperson, Jan Foulcher, Richard Coffey and a team of helpers and residents pay a modest fee of $5 which covers their drinks and nibbles.

The last Happy Hour for 2017 is complimentary so, not surprisingly, there was a huge turnout with residents enjoying hot snacks and drinks. Everyone was encouraged to “eat, drink and be merry” and It was the perfect way to cap off a busy social time at the village.
