Robert’s delightful events return to Twin Waters

One of the major benefits about living at Living Choice Twin Waters is the fact that Robert Airs lives there! With his theatre and culinary background, he is the perfect person to organise a wide range of events and outings and he has staged some wonderful functions over many years.

COVID-19 put paid to the events he had planned in the first half of the year but now that restrictions have eased, he’s raring to go and has already hosted a lunch at the village which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Twenty-two residents tucked into his delicious home-made chicken and vegetable soup, followed by a decadent lemon and meringue roulade served with raspberries and cream. Afterwards everyone adjourned to the auditorium to watch a DVD on “Yanni”.

Robert’s next event is a Peter Allen BBQ Spectacular which will be held in the leisure centre on 26 September. Due to the current restrictions, the event will be limited to 40 people with 4 people per table. Robert’s menu will consist of Prawn Cocktail Aussie style, three types of BBQ meats with onions and mushrooms, selected salads, and a bread roll with butter. Dessert will be home-made apple pie, custard and cream – all for only $25 per person. We’re sure this event will book out fast!
