SALA Exhibition Opening Night at Living Choice Fullarton
By Angela Trevor
On a night in the depths of winter here at Fisher Street, the lights shone brightly on a dazzling display of fine art and sculpture from over 50 South Australian artists. Around 200 residents and guests attended the official Opening which was emceed with the usual enthusiasm and warmness by Living Choice Ambassador, Keith Conlon. While attendees supped on refreshments, generously supplied by Sidewood Wines and Coopers Brewery, and enjoyed the tasty morsels from our own Damien on Fisher restaurant, the Acting Mayor of Unley, Peter Hughes, officially opened the exhibition. Living Choice director, Graham Hobbs, also spoke to the crowd, recognising the fabulous curator of the exhibition, Helen Hammond, and presenting her with flowers as a Thank You for her tireless work. Anthony Toop, from Toop & Toop Real Estate, then entertained us with his auction skills, successfully selling the generously donated auction items, which ranged from artwork to jewellery, to enthusiastic bidders. The party continued on through the evening and the red dots multiplied. Congratulations to all for a great night!
The exhibition is open daily from 10am – 4pm and continues until the 26th August. (see details here)
