Sharing the winnings at the Central Coast Gala
Reward Event

The Gala Reward Event draw is held annually to reward those who have referred a friend or family member to a Living Choice village. The "settlement sources" are tallied for the financial year and the 2022-2023 referral rate topped 58 percent.

This year it was Broadwater Court's turn to host the Central Coast Gala Reward event. Held at the Waterfront Estate, the room looked beautiful, showcasing the colours of rose gold, black and white.  Fresh flowers were set on each table to complement the theme. To celebrate the festive occasion guests were delighted to enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival.

In addition to a tasty cheese platter on each table, guests were served warm canapes and sandwiches throughout the afternoon, followed by a selection of lemon tarts and muffins.

Regional Manager Gail Eyres warmly welcomed everyone and advised there were 23 referrers in the draw with the first prize being a $5,000 gift card and the second prize a $200 gift card.

In a process of elimination with two referrers remaining, Living Choice Group General Manager, Jason Sack offered the final two the opportunity to split the total prize or take a chance for the whole amount. Amanda Britten didn’t hesitate and was happy to split the total prize money of $5,200 with referrer Brian Mitchell.

Both winners were referrers for their mothers, with both living at Living Choice Broadwater Court.

Asked what each winner was thinking of doing with their winnings, Amanda replied, “It’s all for mum”.

Brian Mitchell said, “Perhaps a holiday to the snow may be on the cards”.
