Southern Group Vets enjoy golf in the Riverland

Living Choice is a proud sponsor of the Southern Group Veteran Golfers and recently, 45 members - including wives and partners - enjoyed a trip to the Riverland for golf and sightseeing. They took the Living Choice pull-up banner along for the ride!

The majority stayed in the Berri Caravan Park and President, John Weeden, said they held “Happy Hours” each afternoon at 4.30pm.

“We played at Barmera Golf Club on Monday, Berri on Tuesday and Loxton on Friday. On the Tuesday night the “welcome dinner” was held at the Barmera Golf Club, which was a great success. It was also the 70th birthday of one of our group and the club supplied a cake.

“Tuesday and Thursday were “lay days” and members toured all over the Riverland visiting various local wineries and local attractions. It was a great week.”

John thanked Living Choice, especially Regional Manager Katherine Stacey and her team, for the gifts which were used as prizes.

“We are very proud to represent Living Choice to the community,” he added.
