Southern Group Vets primed for State Champs

With the Veteran Golfers’ State Championships being held at South Lakes on 18^th May, the Southern Group Vets got a good idea of what to expect on the course when they held their monthly tournament at South Lakes on 3^rd April.

Secretary, Dennis Ray, said it was a great day with 75 players attending. “We were slightly disappointed with the numbers as we would normally expect 100 at South Lakes. The course was in excellent condition and the overall winner was Lloyd Jackson with a very good score of 39 points.”

The State Championships, which will be sponsored by Living Choice, will be hosted by Lower Murray & Hills Vets. Living Choice is a sponsor of both the Southern Group Vets and the Lower Murray & Hills Vets.
