Southern Vets brave wet conditions at Victor Harbor

Despite a waterlogged course, 81 members of the Southern Group Veteran Golf Association were determined to enjoy their monthly tournament at Victor Harbor Golf Club on 8^th August.

“We survived and made it a great day. The sun came out and took away the cold so that we could enjoy a comfortable stroll through the golf course,” said John Weeden.

Captain John Hudson said the conditions made it difficult to score well but it was “still a good day”. He thanked the sponsors, Living Choice and Gemtree Wines, for their continuing support. Congratulations to Peter Phillips of Tailem Bend and Patricia Gibson of McCracken who won the lucky draws.
