Southern Vets notch up great scores at October competition
Another great golf day was enjoyed by the Southern Group Vets at McCracken Golf Club on Monday 10th October. Living Choice is a sponsor of the Southern Group Vets, which meets at a different club each month for a fun day of golf and camaraderie.
At the October game, players from Mount Compass, Edwardstown, South Lakes, Victor Harbor, McLaren Vale, Marion ark and Wirrina Cove were amongst the winners.
Captain John Hudson said there was a slightly smaller field than usual, but the weather was sunny and the course was in excellent condition.
“Some good scores were recorded. Alan Detrey was the overall winner with a fine score of 40 points. Well done "Big Al"! Eric Abdilla and Ross Rigby followed with 39 points.”
The next game will be held at Murray Bridge on 14th November and registrations are open now.
