Spring Open Day a winner at
Leisure Lea Gardens

Perfect weather, beautiful homes to inspect, award-winning gardens, scrumptious food and a friendly welcome. The Spring Open Day at Leisure Lea Gardens on 10th November had all the ingredients for an enjoyable event!

Sales consultant, Anna Ginters said there was an excellent turnout with new and returning clients enjoying an early lunch in the courtyard, surrounded by beautiful trees, shrubs and flowering gardens.

“The guests included the lovely Teresa Ho who plans to buy into the village next year, and who brought friends from Hong Kong who are looking to relocate next year as well.”

Anna said everyone commented on the tasty lunch. “We had sausages with fried onions on fresh bread rolls, cooked to perfection by Joel Perez (Head Gardener) and Steve Nolan (Maintenance Manager). There were also two delicious salads - seafood pasta and a garden salad – plus a choice of delightful baked goods, including pikelets, fruit cake and scones with jam and cream, made by Leisure Lea Gardens resident, Sarah Lee-Joe. We also served a punch made with fresh fruit and it was very popular,” she said.

Following the lunch, guests were taken on tours of the available Independent Living and Supported Living apartments, all beautifully refurbished to a very high standard.

Anna thanked the many people who helped to ensure the Open Day was enjoyable. “A huge shout-out to Claude Dos Santos, Assistant Gardener, who helped with preparing the village to look its absolute best in the lead-up to Open Day. He was also invaluable in assisting our guests to park safely and join in the festivities in the courtyard.

“The Resident Ambassadors were also extremely helpful, welcoming guests, serving food, joining our guests at the tables to share their own experiences at Leisure Lea, and to answer any questions our guests may have had.

“It was a very enjoyable event with happy guests, lots of smiles, full bellies, and the beginnings of making plans to downsize to Leisure Lea Gardens.”
