St Patrick’s Day fun at Parkwood

Parkwood Seniors and Veterans celebrated St Patrick’s Day at Parkwood Golf Club, playing a 4 Person Irish Stableford followed by a hearty lunch of Steak and Guinness Pie, chips and salad. Due to the rain, the original field of 140 was cut to 70 but all enjoyed a great day and some good scores were posted.

Congratulations to Allan McDonnell, who was elected as the new President of the Parkwood Seniors and Veterans - it was also his birthday! Apart from the golfing prizes, there was also a prize for Best Dressed which went to Jan, Judy, Sue and Frances. Well done to the committee for another well-organised and fun event.
