St Vincent’s says “thank you” to Kawana Island residents

Following the large donation of beautiful handcrafted toys and knitted items to St Vincent de Paul late last year, Brendan and Liam from St Vincent’s came to Happy Hour at Living Choice Kawana Island on Friday 15th February to present Certificates of Appreciation to the KIRV Toymakers and Craft Ladies.

The certificates were presented to Janne Bernhard, coordinator of the Craft Ladies and John Sutton and George Humeniuk, past and present coordinators of the Toymakers’ group.

Many residents attended Happy Hour and were delighted to hear that the toys had been delivered to towns out west that had been severely affected by the drought.
