Stage 1 plans revealed for Living Choice Galston

The road to Galston’s finest retirement living took a big step forward when two well-attended Information Sessions were held for Living Choice Galston clients at Living Choice’s village in Glenhaven. The Glenhaven village has a long waiting list and, with the demand for quality retirement living in the region growing rapidly, clients were keen to see the plans for the long-awaited Galston village.

A large Living Choice team was present to welcome the attendees, including the directors of Living Choice, Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs. Many people commented afterwards how they valued the opportunity to speak to the company owners direct.

Also attending were Group General Manager Jason Sack, Head Designer Craig Eyles, Regional Manager Gail Eyres, NSW Construction Manager John Elliott, Site Manager Scott Henry, Marketing Manager Linda Hooper, sales team members, Carlie Gowenlock, Jane Fisher and Dave Grassby, as well as Home Care staff members, Rita Wass and Phillipa Carden.

Ian Tregoning gave an overview of the company and its growing footprint in three states. Ian has a strong influence on all aspects of the home and leisure centre designs and said he was proud of the many awards his design team had won over the years.

Head Designer, Craig Eyles, unveiled the four villa plans for Stage 1 – the Arcadia, Ashdale, Glenorie and Spencer - ranging in size from 156sqm to 185sqm. Stage 1 comprises 9 villas and, weather permitting, the first slabs will be poured before the end of 2022. He also presented the plans for the two-storey leisure centre with its stunning Grand Foyer and extensive indoor and outdoor facilities.

While the homes at Living Choice Galston will be impressive, Graham Hobbs also reminded everyone about the social benefits of retirement community living. “It’s an investment in your lifestyle and you can’t put a price on that,” he said.

Jason Sack outlined the industry’s Code of Conduct and Accreditation program, saying both were important to ensure good management, accountability and resident harmony. He invited clients to register their interest in the first 9 homes and said the price guidelines would be set when the first slabs were poured. “Prices will be similar to those at Living Choice Glenhaven, which are currently between $1.5 million and $1.8 million.”

The day was extra special for Bob Shaw who attended the afternoon session with his wife, Rhonda. She revealed that it was his 80th birthday and much to his delight, he was presented with a mini tart complete with birthday candle. It was a happy surprise for Bob … and a fitting way to celebrate a great milestone for Living Choice Galston!
