Sue shines at Vets’ Christmas competition

The Lower Murray & Hills Veteran Golfers headed to Willunga for their Christmas competition on 19th December and while most of the scores were below par, Sue Telfer had a cracking round to win with 38 points.

President Colin Stevens said 86 players and three guests enjoyed the sumptuous Christmas lunch after the game. “Three of our five Life Members attended, including Max Bockman, who is well into his 90s.

David Brookman from Living Choice presented prizes to the winners, including a lucky draw prize which was won by new LM&H Vets’ member, Mark Traeger of Flagstaff Hill Golf Club.
