Sun shines on annual Maroochy River Ladies’ Day

The annual Living Choice sponsored Maroochy River Women’s Open Day is a highlight on the golfing calendar at Maroochy River Golf Club. This year’s event was played in bright sunshine with a moderate breeze and was much enjoyed by the 83 entrants from 18 golf clubs. Five women golfers from New Zealand also attended.

Amongst the players were Janice Olley and Maree Christensen, residents at Living Choice Twin Waters, who both played well but missed out on the prizes.

Living Choice has sponsored the event for many years and Captain Lyn Black said the club was most appreciative of Living Choice’s continued support.

“Thank you so very much for Living Choice’s sponsorship – the women at Maroochy River can’t thank you enough. The feedback received from our members and visitors is that they thoroughly enjoyed the day and were most impressed with the extent of the prizes,” she added.

Living Choice also donated a hamper for the lucky draw, which was won by Liz Montgomery. Congratulations to all the winners:
