Sydney Bowls Carnivals wrap up for 2022
Report by Steve Arnold, Bowls Coordinator – West Pennant Hills
On a sunny Monday 22nd August, West Pennant Hills Sports Club held the final Living Choice Carnival for 2022.
This has become an annual event with five other participating bowling clubs sponsored by Living Choice’s retirement villages – Glenhaven, Galston and Leisure Lea Gardens. All the bowlers who attend these carnivals appreciate Living Choice’s continued sponsorship and support for our sport.
On the day there were 26 teams (78 bowlers) competing for a range of prizes. After two games of 12 Ends the bowlers sat down for lunch prepared by Penny’s Bistro.
Carlie Fisher from Living Choice Glenhaven presented the winners with their prizes. Carlie also drew the winning ticket for the Living Choice supplied hamper and the raffle prizes supplied by WPH Sports Club Prizes included 10 bottles of wine and four $25 cash cards.
