Sydney Hills Bowls Carnivals make a welcome return

Living Choice has been the main sponsor of the Sydney Hills Bowls Carnivals for many, many years. The sponsorship is divided between Living Choice Glenhaven in the Hills Shire and Leisure Lea Gardens Retirement Village in Marsfield. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the events could not be held in 2020, however this year they have made a welcome return with the first carnival being held at Pennant Hills Bowls Club on 15th March.
The carnival was well-supported by bowlers from many clubs, however the first three prize-winning teams were all from Pennant Hills. Who says that home ground advantage does not play a part? Village Manager of Leisure Lea Gardens, Linda Savige, presented the prizes and also introduced the village commitee’s President, John Williams.
Ken Byatt, Vice President of the Pennant Hills Men’s Bowling Club, said Living Choice’s continued support was greatly appreciated. The next carnival will be held at West Pennant Hills Bowling Club on 12th April, followed by North Epping on 10th May, Dural on 24th May, Castle Hill on 21st June, Dural on 19th July and Castle Hill on 16th August.
