Lower Murray & Hills golfers
Sue Lock from the Living Choice Flagstaff Hill sales team joined 82 Lower Murray & Hills Veteran golfers for the April game played at Thaxted Park Golf Club on 17th April. Although Sue is a golfer, she did not have time to play, however she attended the prizegiving and was warmly thanked by the President, Colin Stevens.
Colin said despite the lovely weather, there were “some really good scores but as usual, more bad than good!”
“Considering the rating of the course none of us can work out why we play so poorly at Thaxted Park as the course was in good condition. The staff behind the bar were efficient and pleasant and overall, it was a great day of fellowship and golf,” he said.

Overall winner - Ian Pedler 36pts.
Division 1 – 1st Alllan Lipschitz 35pts, 2nd Frank Williams 35, 3rd Chris Nailer 34.
Division 2 – 1st Brian Baldock 35pts, 2nd Sandy Hodge 35, 3rd Adrian Klaurer 34.
Mark Traeger won the basket for the second time in a row and kindly donated it back. The winner of the second draw was Russell Yeates.
The May game will be held at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club, adjacent to Living Choice Flagstaff Hill, and golfers are warmly invited to inspect the display homes available.
