`The best move’, says first Flagstaff Hill resident

On 25th July 2020, Living Choice Flagstaff Hill’s first resident, Wendy Butler, moved into her beautiful new home with her much-loved Cavoodle, Bella. Twelve months later, Wendy declared, “It was the best move I’ve ever made”!

Wendy attended the first presentation that Living Choice hosted several years ago and she subsequently became the first deposit holder. “I was very taken with the whole concept. I had recently been divorced and the security and safety of the village environment really appealed to me. I have been a member of the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club for 30 years and the close proximity to the club means I can continue to play golf for many more years,” she added.

Wendy said she received plenty of help and guidance from Sales Manager, Katherine Stacey and the management team. “The whole process of selling up and the big move to the first villa completed in the village was seamless. I now live in a quality villa with high-end appliances.”

Wendy said although the village was small, there was a great spirit amongst the residents. “New residents are moving in as more villas are completed and last week, we welcomed two more couples. We have celebrated a 30-year Emigration party, an 80th birthday, been to the Miele Showroom for a cookery demonstration, had dinner at the golf club and recently, the residents joined deposit holders and staff for a ‘Christmas in July’ lunch.”

Fellow resident Rick O’Donnell has given Wendy the title of `Lady Mayoress’ and it’s a title she has earned, making new residents feel welcome and helping Katherine in the sales office. “I’m just happy to see that all the residents are healthy and happy with life, and as contented with their new home as I am. Bella and I have made new friends and love walking around the village to check on building progress. Life couldn’t be any better.”
