XMAS ADELAIDE

The “Wild West” comes to Woodcroft

Just two days after winning the Property Council of Australia’s award for Best Refurbishment, the leisure centre at Living Choice Woodcroft was transformed into the “Wildwood Saloon” for the Living Choice and Treg Trailers’ SA staff Christmas Party.

The scene was set for a boot-scootin Wild West party, complete with saloon doors, wagons made by Mark Furga, hay bales, a giant cactus made out of balloons and even a bucking bull. Western-themed tables, with cut-out denim pockets to hold the tableware, a jukebox and shooting games added to the festive atmosphere. There was also plenty of Western “tucker” including a Spit Roast with salads, doughnuts, a soft serve ice-cream machine and jars of lollies.

Staff members, their partners and their children embraced the opportunity to dress up as their favourite cowboy or cowgirl and were joined by saloon ladies, sheriffs, bandits and a few squaws. Congratulations to Craig Eyles for winning Best Dressed Male and Katerina Rowlinson for being awarded Best Dressed Female.

Huge congratulations to the talented Woodcroft team of Katerina Rowlinson, Katherine Stacey, Gail Pounsett and Brooke Harkins for organising such an enjoyable Christmas party – they have certainly raised the bar!
