Top night out for Fullarton residents

Report by Sandra Maynard:

It was another successful ’Saturday Night Live’ at Fullarton last weekend with a return cabaret performance from Bonnie and the Boyz.

Numbers were down from those outside the village but the residents rallied to fill the tables and listen to a variety of jazz, soul and lounge music with Bonnie centre stage.

Damien from Damien On Fisher outdid himself with an alternate drop dinner of fillet steak or barramundi; chocolate fondant or cheesecake. Let’s hope dancing helped to roll away some those calories! It was Damien’s last cabaret before he leaves the village after nearly eight years of hosting the restaurant. Damien and his team received spontaneous and loud applause when he brought everyone out to meet the audience.

New Village Manager, Simon Pavelic, was inducted into the bi- monthly cabaret and hosted a table of ten potential residents. Simon said he’s never worked in a retirement village that hosted so many events. Watch this space, Simon!

Top community, top entertainment, top food, top night! Well done to the organisers of this fantastic event.
