Twin Waters residents celebrate suburb’s 22nd birthday

“Celebrating our lifestyle and community” was the theme of the Twin Waters Residents’ Association’s 22nd Birthday Party in the Park and the event certainly lived up to all expectations.

After being postponed from 14th October due to poor weather, Sunday 28th October was a picture-perfect day with many residents of all ages turning up to celebrate the event, held on the edge of the lake at Warwick Daniels Lake View Park.

There was plenty of entertainment, including music by the Noosa Jazz, songs by the talented members of the Pacific Paradise School choir, an animal farm, Apex canoe rides and games, a fishing competition, face-painting, a jumping castle and raffles with $2,200 worth of prizes, including a hamper donated by Living Choice.

There were also bargains to be found at the cake and plant stalls, a coffee van, soft drinks and a sausage sizzle. Novotel Twin Waters Resort gave out free ice-creams and also had plans of the resort’s new convention centre on display.

Congratulations to the TWRA, the many sponsors and the volunteers who arranged another great birthday event.
