Twin Waters residents delight in selling their crafts
The craft ladies at Living Choice Twin Waters village are a special group who come together weekly to enjoy good company but also for the purpose of making their crafts.
On Monday 28th November the ladies held their annual Craft Fair at the village and there was a great turnout.
This year’s stalls did not disappoint the shoppers and there was something for everyone. On display were baked goods, chutneys, jams, knitted toys, jewellery, LED bottles and Christmas crafts, to name a few.
With six raffles to win, Devonshire teas to enjoy, and browsing among the many tables, it was a lovely afternoon for all who attended.
Money raised this year will go to a few select charities, which the group is still deciding on, said Carol Baker-Finch.
Carol further mentioned that they had raised $2268 on the day.
The ladies have been very busy this year, making knitted teddies, jumpers, Central Queensland lambs, knitted beanies for premature babies and beanies and scarves for the homeless. They welcome anyone to the craft group, which meets on Monday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4pm.
Well done to all the ladies involved throughout the year.
