Twin Waters residents take out first place in garden contest

Living Choice Twin Waters has many residents who take pride in their gardens. It’s a pleasure to see these gardening enthusiasts out enjoying a spot of gardening and tending to their blooms.

Recently, the Twin Waters Residents’ Association (TWRA) held its annual garden competition. The categories were:

Best tropical garden;
Best formal or structured garden;
Best street appeal, with a focus on colour;
Best small garden.

Congratulations to Living Choice Twin Waters residents, Derek and Barbara Potter, who were awarded first place in the ‘Best Small Garden’ category.

Derek and Barbara both take such pride in their gardens showing blooms of colour and texture.
Derek and the late Bill Andrews were the men behind the village’s veggie garden that rewards residents with Seville oranges, limes, lemons, avocados, mangos and passionfruit to name a few.

The prize-giving for the winners in each category will be held at the next TWRA general meeting at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort on 9th October.
