Elvis

Twin Waters residents were All Shook Up!

Living Choice Twin Waters residents had a “little less conversation” at the locally hosted event recently when they were entertained by the man himself “Mr Elvis Presley”.

Following a delicious 3-course meal prepared by a team of amazing volunteer residents, a night of enjoyment was had by all, as the residents sang along to a very talented Elvis impersonator.

There was much foot-tapping to the music and swaying in one’s chair, as everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy all the popular songs that were sung for the 1 ½ hour duration of the show.

Before Elvis and his entourage “left the building”, he performed one last act wooing the residents in his final costume change - his famous white jumpsuit.

This night was part of the month-long Elvis tribute that was organised by talented resident Robert Airs. Robert put together the exhibition that runs for the remainder of August to commemorate the 45th year of the passing of Elvis Presley and is open to the public.

Well done Robert and your amazing team of volunteers on a successful night.

Make sure to visit the Twin Waters village at 21 Baywater Drive if you are an Elvis fan to see the exhibition.
