Veteran Golfers head for Mount Barker
Living Choice has sponsored the Lower Mitcham & Hills Golf Veterans for a number of years and they have a competition at a different club each month. Living Choice is always happy to supply the golf balls for the ball run down, and the prizes.
The September tournament was played at the picturesque Aston Hills Golf Club at Mount Barker, an 18-hole course with a par 70 rating. SA Veteran golfers arrived at the course in good cheer and camaraderie – and that was no surprise because with this group of Veterans there is always a lot of laughter and great mateship.
Following the golf and a relaxed luncheon, prizes were awarded by Living Choice representatives, Katherine Stacey and David Brookman. The winners were as follows:
A Grade: 1st Jeff Reuter; 2nd Steve Nailer; 3rd Geoff Mitchell.
B Grade: 1st Jill Freer; 2nd Brian Wallace; 3rd Bruce Carr.
