Veteran golfers put on a
show at Aston Hills

Members of the Lower Murray & Hills Veteran Golfers’ Association travelled to Aston Hills Golf Club in Mount Barker on 23rd January – and returned some sparkling scores!

“What a great day we had,” said President, Colin Stevens. “The weather was just perfect and the course was in excellent condition, which resulted in some outstanding scoring.

“There was a good turnout of 84 players, which meant the course was busy. It was also great to see David Brookman and Teresa Allan of Living Choice there with another lovely raffle plus some towels and balls that were readily distributed. We are very grateful for that product support,” he added.

Congratulations to the winner of the Living Choice raffle, Ann Morton.

Results: Overall winner - Adrian Klauber 44pts. A Grade – 1st Chris Nailer 38pts, 2nd Bevan Hill 38 on a count-back, 3rd Steven French 38 (c/b).

B Grade – 1st Jill Sommerlad 42pts, 2nd John Field 40, 3rd Graham Young 38. C Grade – 1st Neil Holton 39pts, 2nd Geoff Bowels 38, 3rd Kirsty Page 37.
