Warm welcome for Veteran golfers at Victor Harbor

Perfect weather greeted the 81 Southern Group Veteran golfers when they arrived to take part in their monthly game on Monday 17^th July.

The venue was the beautiful Victor Harbor Golf Course, which was a little damp following all the rain of the past few weeks, but President John Weeden said the sun was shining and although a bit chilly to start, it warmed up as the day went on.

Excellent scores were achieved with John Sweetman notching up 40 points to be the overall winner. Congratulations to all the prize-winners:

Div 1: 1^st John Sweetman 40pts, 2^nd Ray Morris 36pts, 3^rd Michael Prance 36pts.
Div 2: 1st Peter Schmerl 36pts, 2^nd Rob Roy 34pts, 3^rd John Hincksman 32pts.
Div 3: 1st Geoff Cottrell 34pts, 2^nd Bruce Watkins 33pts, 3^rd Ray Walsh 32pts.
Women: 1st Sandy Bevan 37pts, 2^nd Lisa Gray 36pts.
