We love referrals – thank you!

Since 1992, friends and family members have been referring their loved ones to Living Choice retirement communities. Many Living Choice residents have encouraged their friends to move in too. In fact, referrals have topped the list of advertising sources for retirement unit sales for the past 12 years. In the 22-23 financial year, referrals accounted for 58 percent of sales.

Living Choice has a Referral Program in place at all its villages and the reward varies, valued from $500 to $1,000 at some of the newer, developing villages. All successful referrers also go in the annual regional draw to win a $5,000 UChoose Gift Voucher.

At Living Choice Fullarton, the reward for both the referrer and the new resident is a $500 voucher redeemable at the village’s onsite restaurant, Castello’s Cucina. Recently, Fullarton resident Sandra Maynard (pictured above right) referred Gillian Cooper to the village and Sales Consultant, David Brookman, was delighted to present them with their $500 gift cards.

So how did Sandra meet Gillian and why did she refer her to the village?

“A few months ago, a friend invited me to her club because the guest speaker was someone I knew personally. I accepted with alacrity and we enjoyed a pleasant lunch seated at a table with strangers with whom I engaged in general conversation,” said Sandra.

“At the end, my friend invited me for another drink in the bar and the group included the woman with whom I had been mostly chatting – Gill Potter. Gill told me she was thinking of downsizing and had looked at another retirement village in Adelaide. I suggested she visit Living Choice as my guest for an inspection of our environment and facilities and to meet some other residents. The rest, as they say, is history.”
