Wellness Centre launched to the public at Woodcroft

In just two months since the opening of the leisure centre at Living Choice Woodcroft, the Wellness Centre located in the centre has attracted 8 experienced practitioners who are offering a wide range of health, fitness and beauty services. The services are not only available to village residents – they are open to people of all ages in the local community.

To promote the Wellness Centre and new homes available, an Open Day was held at the village on Saturday 21st April and attracted many people keen to learn more about the services on offer. Each practitioner gave a short talk and George Lee, a Tai Chi and Qigong Master, gave a demonstration. There were also prizes and special offers and many people took advantage of the opportunity to meet Woodcroft’s friendly Resident Ambassadors who showed visitors around the leisure centre and display homes.

A plaque was also unveiled to celebrate the donation of a piano to the leisure centre by residents Bev and Rob Brook.

The Wellness Centre services include physiotherapy, podiatry, reflexology, remedial and relaxation massage, aqua classes, chair yoga, Strength for Life classes, Tai Chi, Qigong, hairdressing and beauty therapy.
