Living Choice supports Youth Opportunities Golf Day
After winter’s wet and windy blast throughout the week, Living Choice’s Angela Trevor and Luke Hayden found themselves happily setting up in the sunshine for the annual Youth Opportunities Golf Day event on Friday 10th May. The carpet-like fairways of the beautiful Glenelg Golf Course looked fabulous after the rain and the 126 players made the most of the good conditions.
A steady stream of happy golfers arrived at the tee on the 5th hole to be greeted by the Living Choice team, there to support the wonderful work of Youth Opportunities and also promote the soon-to-be constructed village at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club. Chocolates, balls, tees, towels and happy banter allowed participants to rest for a moment out of the chilly wind and the occasional showery squall. Golfers also took the opportunity to enter the lucky draw – congratulations to Peter Hawke who won a $100 Damien on Fisher Restaurant voucher.
Well done to the YO events team on raising much-needed funds to assist young people to reach their full potential. As at 14th May, the golf day was on track to beat last year’s record total of $87,000 – an amazing achievement!
