Youth Opportunities makes an impact at Fullarton

The auditorium at Living Choice Fullarton is used for many enjoyable activities, ranging from fitness classes to business meetings and cabaret evenings. On Thursday 6th May, it was the venue for a very special event, organised by Youth Opportunities and sponsored by Living Choice, to celebrate SA Youth Week 2021.

“We were fortunate to gather with some of our incredible supporters and friends, to celebrate the outcomes of Youth Opportunities’ 2020 programs and services,” said Erin Faehrmann, Chief Executive of Youth Opportunities.

“We also heard from a panel of guest speakers, including Youth Opportunities’ graduate Chloe Dabrowski, Commissioner for Children and Young People SA, Helen Connolly, CEO of The Wyatt Trust and philanthropic leader, Stacey Thomas, and philanthropist and long-term Youth Opportunities’ supporter, Graham Hobbs OAM.

“Chloe, who graduated from our Personal Leadership Program a few years ago, was our ‘youth MC’ for the day. Chloe also won our Adam Scott Foundation tertiary education scholarship last year.”

Erin said the 2020 Annual Impact Report would be released online soon, to celebrate the achievements of young people and their supporters.

Living Choice Directors, Graham Hobbs and Ian Tregoning, are long-time supporters of Youth Opportunities, a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to develop lifelong skills, habits and the confidence to thrive.
